Patrick had to grow traffic to the website given its dependency of ad revenue. In order to increase its profile, Patrick developed a relationship with an up and coming publisher. Collaborations here put Graphic Policy in a much larger spotlight. Within a year, DC Comics, the second largest comic publisher at the time, quoted Patrick on one of their covers, elevating the website’s profile permanently.
