In 2017, Patrick was contacted by the creative team for a new independent film, “Thorp“. Given his previous experience working in crowdfunding, he was asked to create a crowdfunding strategy.
In addition to developing the marketing strategy for the Seed & Spark campaign, Patrick was also asked to contribute to the incentives by designing a pin to promote the film’s main character.
The final design used a star as the background shape. But the design was soo well received they began to offer other items featuring Patrick’s art.
Ultimately the campaign used both Patrick’s content and design strategies to raise nearly $18,000.
